This is my absolute favorite garden aid. Especially wonderful for deadheading roses or almost surgically removing only the spent blooms on just about any flowering plant, or shrub. ..and because it holds the stem quite well after snipping, it's a one hand operation! In the garden, who can't use an extra hand? It's precise and lightweight, but sturdier than it looks, highly resists rust (of course, I pampered mine), and has a very nice feel in the hand. I somehow misplaced a black pair I used for over 15 years, so I was overjoyed to find this product again. My heart sank when I noticed my old pair missing from it's nail in the kitchen. I keep it handy, to dash out the door and grab a pretty rose or peony. I spent the day sifting through my trash bags. THAT"S how much I missed this tool. Thank goodness I found a supplier because I never saw it again in any store or garden center after I bought my first pair. If you have flowers, these shears are a blessing! You will LOVE this!
